About

Photography is an art form that combines the use of a camera and light to produce an image. The medium for this art form was first developed by Johann Heinrich Schulze in the sixteenth century, but its modern form dates back to the early nineteenth century. Johann Heinrich Schulze’s discovery that silver salt darkens in the presence of light was the basis for the photographic process. While Schulze did not attempt to capture images permanently, his discovery provided the basic technology for photography.

Photography is a creative medium that can be used for many purposes. It can be a way to document reality, or it can be used for artistic purposes. Photographs can be manipulated to produce various effects that are not possible with other media. Changing the settings and composition of a photograph can drastically alter the appearance of an image. Photographers can change a subject’s appearance by altering the color of the camera, applying different filters, and using different sensitive materials. Photographers can also change the contrast between highlights and shadows in their images.

Fine art photography is a popular form of photography. Fine art photographers sell their work on a commission or freelance basis. Fine art photographers generally work alone and enjoy creative freedom. Commercial/industrial photographers, on the other hand, produce images for many different uses. Their work involves photographing everything from workers to machinery.
